Homecare Support Worker

Location: Falkirk area (including Denny, Bonnybridge and Larbert)

Shifts: Full Time available working 67.5 hours over 2 weeks (would be required to work every second weekend)

Rate: £11.95 per hour rising to £12.24 per hour after 6 months (subject to objectives being met)

Benefits: We pay 40p mileage allowance, pay travel time and an employer contribution of 3% to your Pension.

The role of a Homecare Support Worker Services requires you to be able to carry out:

• Personal Care
• Medication Prompting
• Meal Provision
• Light Domestic Duties
• Social Support – Escorting to appointments and providing companionship

You will be joining a team where our aim is to provide the highest standard of care and companionship possible within the community and maintain the standards achieved at our Care Inspection in January 2024 which achieved the highest score of 6.

This role requires you to have:

· Be registered with the SSSC or be willing to get registered within 3 months of joining.

· Proof of right to work in the UK

· A valid driving license and own your own car

· A willingness to make a positive difference to someone’s life.

· Enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude

Creative Homecare is a social enterprise developed by Strathcarron Hospice: proceeds from this service will be reinvested to support people with life limiting illnesses who need Hospice care to make every moment count.
