Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly committed person with experience in caring for horses and ponies. Knowledge of equine behaviour and training is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
The Mare and Foal Sanctuary is the largest equine charity in the South West peninsula, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of horses and ponies in need. Based in Devon, we have 5 specialist sites, including a specialist veterinary and welfare assessment centre. We also have an active programme of educational events for horse owners and a multidisciplinary equine assisted learning team.
This post is based at our Upcott Park sanctuary near Holsworthy. Working closely with our team of experts, you will help provide the highest standard of care, monitoring the health and behaviour of our horses and be actively involved in their training in preparation for the next stage of their lives.

This position is full time, 37.5 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 and a starting salary of £20,319 per annum (pay review pending)
