Job Title: Locum Outpatient PharmacistLocation: Liverpool Location - free parking on offerDuration: 6 months role length , with view to extendSchedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm (60 mins lunch), but part time may be consideredStart Date: Mid January/February 2024End Date: July/August 2024Rate of pay: £23 - £32 per hour dependent on experienceA Day in the Life of a Hospital Outpatient Pharmacist
As a specialist Outpatient Locum Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role assisting the dispensary team and overseeing the daily running of the service.
To note, no prior outpatient experience is required - training will be given to thoese from the community sector!!Clinical Screening dutiesSome accuracy checking of medicationsOffering advice to patients coming through the outpatientsOversee the day to day running of the dispensaryHelping the ATOs and Pharm Techs with checking when neededRequirements and qualifications required for this role:
Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a PharmacistSome kind of previous community pharmacy experience (newly qualified Pharmacists also eligible)Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.Working hours and contract duration:
This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, but hours can be flexible. The contract is for 6 months (January/February 2024 – August 2024)
