The job in a nutshell
The Events & Experiences (E&E) department is responsible for selling, managing and operating a successful service delivery of all social, corporate, ticketed and wine education events that take place within the Berry Bros. & Rudd portfolio.
You will provide support to the Events Operations Team throughout peak office hours by ensuring rooms are set correctly, beverages (hot and cold) are available, our Exec offices have support on demand, glasses are set and cleared for internal staff tastings, ownership and stock management of kitchenettes, roof herb garden management, cloakroom and guestlist support for lunches, support waiting staff for lunches when needed, and cover reception lunches/breaks.
The role is available on a part-time, 3 day week basis (based on 8am-5pm, Tuesday to Thursday), with work rota-ed a week in advance.

What you will do
Your focus will be to maintain a 5 hospitality standard throughout the event spaces and meeting rooms of Nos. 2/3/4 St. James's Street. You'll be on the front line, serving our clients and customers while they are at Berry Bros. & Rudd. You'll deliver attentive customer focused service, understand brand standards and enjoy working as part of a successful team.
You will ensure all of our events are delivered to an exceptional standard:
- Deliver 5 customer service with a smile
- Responsible for the setup, delivery and clearing for all events with the rest of the Operations Team
- Support the E&E office and Operations Team by controlling the event spaces during the peak office times
- Welcome guests to our spaces, manage our cloakrooms
- Guide guests around the building as required
- Manage the roof herb garden and help to introduce new sustainability ideas
- Ensure that all working practices comply with Health and Safety legislation"

- Experience of working in a fast-paced event space
- Experience of working with high-net-worth and corporate customers
- Proven eye for detail
