Scope
The Waterside Hotel & Leisure Club are currently looking for a well-rounded Duty Manager to join the Waterside team. The successful candidate should ensure the smooth running of the day to day operation assisting the Hotel Operations Manager in their departments ensuring service and cleanliness is at the heart of the role.
Main Duties
As a Duty manager you would be working across various departments assisting Hotel Reception, Food & Beverage - fulfilling a Duty Manager role. Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager you would be expected to have great product knowledge with the ability to assist and develop the Hotel.
You will also need the ability to lead a team and deliver results to deadlines through your people.
- Have previous experience in a similar or comparable role.
- Be comfortable in managing people.
- Understand the operational demands of several customer facing departments.
- Be numerate and literate with a good level of English.
- Have a positive can-do attitude being able to deal with challenging situations
Hours
We are offering a full-time role (40 hours) with 5 shifts over 7 days, you will be required to work weekends. From time to time given the nature of our business some overnight work may also be required.
