My client is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to steer their boutique hotel in Sleaford to new heights.
About the Role: As the Hotel General Manager, you'll take full Profit and Loss responsibility for this small yet established hotel. Your primary task? To implement effective cost controls and revenue management strategies, ensuring the hotel's continued profitability. You'll be the driving force behind the hotel's operations, making sure it runs smoothly and safely on a daily basis. This role is not just about managing; it's about leading - you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the owners to craft a long-term strategy for the hotel's growth and development.
The hotel boasts 13 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a restaurant and bar, and 2 versatile meeting/function areas. Plus, if needed, there's a dedicated Manager’s accommodation on-site. With a turnover in the £700k+ range, the business is a blend of Food & Beverage and accommodation services.
Key Experience Required:
- Proven track record in managing a similar hospitality establishment (public house with rooms or hotel with extensive F&B and meeting space).
- Demonstrable success in enhancing revenues and implementing cost controls in a hospitality business.
- Experience in capital investment projects, especially in expanding or reconfiguring business spaces, will be highly regarded.
