Hotel Night Shift Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Night Shift Leader to join our team. As the Night Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the hotel during the Night Shift. Your role will involve supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. You will be able to oversee and guide the nightly hotel operation, leading by example & demonstrating how to complete tasks.

Duties:

• Supervise and manage the Night Shift operations of the hotel
• Manage late check-in processes for guests
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Monitor and maintain hotel security measures throughout the night
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient service
• Train and mentor new staff members
• Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and maintaining records
• Be responsible for evacuation, in case of emergency; liaise with the team, guests and the emergency services
• Conduct regular security checks throughout shift, including fire safety checks, reporting any issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel industry is highly preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work Night Shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
