Position:Hotel Porter

Salary: £11.44 per hour (day shift) / £11.64 per hour (night shift)

Schedule: 5 days a week (weekend work expected)

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Hotel Porters to join our team in Daventry.
As a Hotel Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant and seamless experience from arrival to departure.
Both day and night shifts are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with their luggage.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain room facilities.
• Respond to guest requests and provide prompt and courteous service.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and events.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the lobby and common areas.
• Coordinate with reception and housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel and local area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Porter or in a similar customer service role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of English language.
• High school degree or equivalent is preferred.
