Location: THE PIG - and The Village Pub, Barnsley, Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

Salary: £11.10 - £11.44 per hour, plus service charge.

Hours: Full & Part-Time Hours Available. Applicants must be flexible to cover some rota weekends.

Contract Type: Permanent

In January 2024, we acquired the 17th century Barnsley House hotel that is tucked away in the quintessential Cotswold's village of Barnsley, just four miles from Cirencester. THE PIG - and The Village Pub offers guests a classic example of an English country garden that evolves with the seasons including a kitchen garden that will supply the produce found on our 25-mile menu.

We are delighted to announce the start of our recruitment for THE PIG - and The Village Pub and are seeking for Waiting Staff to join our hotel restaurant team.

The Role:

For our Waiting Staff, each day at THE PIG is never the same. Working closely with our kitchen team to deliver a daily changing menu, our Waiting Staff gain inspiration from serving seasonal produce grown within our own kitchen garden and sourced by local suppliers all within a 25mile radius of the hotel.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Take orders and serve food.
• Providing a detailed service with a relaxed and informal approach.
• Understanding of dietary requirements.
• Preparing and clearing of tables, ensuring the restaurant is kept well presented.
• Excellent communication with both the team and guests, having a caring & considered approach in all that you do.
• Report to and fulfil additional responsibilities assigned by the Restaurant Manager and/or Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as Waiting Staff in a hotel, restaurant or similar environment is beneficial. We are seeking for Waiting Staff with positive, can-do attitudes, thriving from working in an attention to detailed role.
