INFORMATION FOR HOUSE PORTER
(Full time - 37.5 hours/week)
£22,425 per annum
Working in our team, you will be undertaking a range of cleaning, manual handling, transportation, storage and other duties across the College sites as required. Tasks and work areas typically vary from day to day according to need and can change in response to new or changing work priorities.
You will have:
- a good knowledge of cleaning techniques
- the ability to move and lift heavy items and use ladders, in line with Risk Assessments, with minimal supervision and after training
- clear communication skills
- a full UK-valid driving licence, or have obtained such a licence within 6 months of joining us.
The role of House Porter is a permanent full-time post (37.5 hours). Salary £22,425 (Step 22 of the College scale).
