Household Underwriter

Role: Underwriter - Insurance

Type: Permanent Location: Essex / Hybrid working (ideally 4 days per week in the office)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus and excellent benefits

Our client being a National Insurer are looking to recruit a Senior none Stranded Household Underwriter to join a thriving team. This is an exciting opportunity to continue your growth and skills within Insurance, I am working exclusively alongside a well established MGA, you will be working with a great team of colleagues,

Core Responsibilities:

1) To Produce, Underwrite and service Open Market, Facility and Delegated Authority Property accounts and to assist with property underwriting

2) Underwrite and price Property risks, including all forms of distribution, and determine the acceptability of risks for underwriting.

3) Ensure that documentation is completed timely and accurately according to standards

4) Liaise with other underwriting departments as necessary to bring the best outcomes.

5) Risk taking - ability to take calculated risks with favourable outcomes.

6) Managing a portfolio of warranty products and accounts.
