Job description

Housekeeper required to ensure high cleaning standards of designated area..

Responsibilities

• Customer care.
• To meet deadlines.
• Clean and service public areas.
• Cleaning and servicing bedrooms and bathrooms to the required standard.
• Clean and service self-catering Lodges (on site).
• Clean at range of surfaces: glass, tiles, floors, carpets.
• Maintain levels of cleaning supplies and linen.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Complete shift paperwork.
• Health and safety at work.
• This position requires lifting and carrying - linen, furniture, etc.
• Self-catering units on site but walking is required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Permitted to legally live and work in Northern Ireland/UK (evidence of immigration status and right to work with ID)
• Good standard of education: English and Maths
• Ability to read and follow signs and written instructions
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use hand or lightweight cleaning tools
• Ability to adhere to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards set by management
• Must have attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work while standing
• English - fluent: understand, speak, writeThis is the primary language of the client base

Desirable Skills

• Professional work experience in similar 4 star hotel
• Professional work experience in similar 4 star self-catering chalets
• NVQ L2 Housekeeping skills
• L2 Customer Care
• L2 Health and Safety at Work
• Fire Safety and Prevention training
