We are looking for an enthusiastic housekeeper to join our team providing a housekeeping service which creates a clean and orderly environment for our families and staff. This role requires working in collaboration with others and taking responsibility for working in line with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Keep the Nurseries a clean and safe environment for the children, staff and families
- Encourage and model behaviour which is appropriate in a child environment being professional at all times
- To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- To carry out daily laundry duties as required
- To respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality: for example being aware of personal information regarding children
- Driver preferred
- Support, promote and implement policies and procedures
- Work in co-operation and partnership with the Nursery team, providing high standards of cleaning to ensure the smooth running of the nursery day
- Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking of certain domestic tasks within the nursery
- Ensuring products and materials are appropriate for a nursery environment and stored and used in line with COSHH guidelines.
- To take reasonable care of yourself and others and to comply with company Health and Safety guidelines whilst understanding the importance of keeping everyone safe and the part you play.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach using your initiative and showing resilience to take responsibility for getting things done

Pay: From £23,836.80 per year
