A Busy working professional couple are seeking a daily housekeeper / cook to come and organise their home. They both work full time out of the house in central London and there are no children at home. They do have a labradoodle that has its own dog walker who takes him out daily. They live in a 3-bedroom apartment that is a short walk from Finchley Station and has good bus routes. The apartment has been recently renovated and is modern and easy to maintain. The couple will be out of the house all day and would like you to spend the first half of the day maintaining the house and the second part of the day preparing a dinner for them as well a healthy pack lunch for the office.
Job Description
Maintaining the house on a daily basis. All general housekeeping including dusting, hoovering, sweeping. Making bed daily & Weekly linen changes General laundry, sorting and ironing. Leaving a simple supper on the stove daily (they couple eat healthy food such as grilled fish and meats, stir fries, soups etc Preparing snacks and light lunch for office such as soup, salads and smoothies. Batch cooking for the weekend Discussing menu plans and recipe books weekly with client organsing online shopping and restocking of items Scheduling seasonal spring cleaning and monthly deep cleans Dealing with any deliveries or contractors such as plumbers etc. Errands such as dry cleaning Buying and arranging flowers Anything else needed to keep the house running smoothly
Candidate Requirements
You must be an experienced and organised housekeeper who is used to being a self-starter and doesn’t need any direction. You will to be able to organise your own day and be happy to prepare simple family style food and plan meals on a weekly bases.
Days of Work and Salary
Can be over 4 or 5 days Mon – Thur or Mon - Fri £20-£23 per hour gross neg 20-30-hour week neg Flex start/finish time from 9:30am onwards – finish by 6:30pm Immediate start but will wait for the right candidate to work their notice.
