Recognised throughout the world for our elegance, style and service excellence, we have the opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our talent pool to work on our iconic Cunard ships. 

 As a Housekeeper (Deck Night Crew) Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring your team are motivated to deliver the required high levels of cleanliness at all times, and providing our guests with our renowned White Star Service!  This role could be working in our guest accommodation areas, crew areas or overnight.  As a Housekeeper Deck Night Crew you will report into the Assistant Housekeeping Manager reporting on any successes and issues. You will have a team of Hotel Assistants, Assistant Butlers, Stewards and Butlers and must ensure a reliable, happy, motivated and inclusive culture amongst everyone. 

You will be a hero of safety and wellbeing at work, and will be held accountable for completing regular audit checks within the department and monitoring policies and procedures to ensure that we are complying with legal requirements.

To join Cunard in this fantastic role you must have the following:

• Have significant experience in a supervisory/management on a luxury 4 - 5 star cruise line
• Work well under pressure, continually strive to improve guest satisfaction scores and effectively resolve issues or complaints
• Working knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment, chemical handling and public health standards.
• Good command of written and spoken English

With a new ship on the horizon, we are planning ahead, this means that the role you are applying for is in our Talent Pool. During the recruitment and on boarding process we may not be able to offer an exact start date, but as soon as we do we will let you know and make sure you have plenty of notice and support to get ready for your adventure with us. 

Carnival UK require all crew, joining any of our vessels, to be fully vaccinated with a primary series of any WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination as a minimum to ensure you continue to have the best protection against COVID-19, and to protect those around you. COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are proven to be effective at reducing the risk of infection, serious illness, hospitalisation and death from COVID-19 therefore we highly recommend that all crew are fully up to date with all available COVID-19 boosters when eligible. 

We will continue to offer COVID-19 booster programmes on board, and during your time on board it will be mandatory for you to attend these clinics to receive a booster vaccination or formally record your refusal of the booster in your medical records. Please note, for all crew who are planned to join a ship visiting Australia during their contract, they are required to be fully vaccinated with a primary series and a WHO Approved booster (preferably MRNA) prior to joining the ship.
