Housekeeper - Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our premises. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the property. You will also be responsible for maintaining stock levels of necessary supplies and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities:
1. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, and communal areas according to established standards and procedures.
2. Vacuum carpets and upholstery to remove dirt and debris.
3. Dust furniture, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
4. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure they are free from smudges and streaks.
5. Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
6. Handle keys for guest rooms and maintain proper key control procedures.
7. Monitor and control stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the appropriate personnel.
8. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Requirements:
1. Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is essential.
2. Strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of cleaning techniques and procedures.
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
5. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping activities.
6. Able to help in FOH when needed .
