The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel setting. Duties
- Clean and sanitize designated areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways
- Make beds and change linens
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products
- Dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and techniques
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
