Job description

The Directorate of Student and Campus Life (SCL) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Housekeeping Supervisor.

The successful candidate will organise and oversee Housekeeping Assistants in the cleaning and day-to-day operation of Queen’s Accommodation residences.

What you will get in return:

Salary of £23,607 - £25,641 pro rata per annum plus excellent benefits including generous holiday entitlement of 8.4 weeks a year (made up of 23 days annual leave, 10 closure days and 9 bank holidays).

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • Relevant academic and/or vocational qualification (e.g. GCSE, O Level, NVQ Level 2). In the event that you do not meet this criteria, the University will also accept the following which has been deemed equivalent: Substantial relevant experience in a directly relevant role.
  • Demonstrable relevant work experience within a customer facing environment e.g. facilities, hotel, conference, accommodation or further or higher education establishment.
  • Supervisory experience.

This post is available on a part time basis. You will be required to work 30 hours per week. Monday to Friday 7:30am-1:30pm
