A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPING TEAM LEADER AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Executive Head Housekeeper, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- Day to day management of the Housekeeping Team members.
- Ensuring rooms are cleaning by housekeepers on shift to a high standard
- Inspiring and motivating the team to achieve the best they can achieve.
- Checking rooms, once cleaning, to ensure they meet the high hotel standards
- Liasing with Reception Team to discuss when guests have arrived and priortising workload.

To succeed in the role of Housekeeping Team Leader, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Expericing in housekeeping
- Experience of management and leading a team
- Working in a medium to large sized hotel.
