  • Fair pay for all – We are committed to aligning our pay rates with the real Living Wage so from 1 April 2024 we will be increasing our pay rate to £12 / hour (currently £10.90). On top of this, we reward your loyalty and experience too; for your second season and third season, we’ll add an additional 25p!
  • Full and part time hours available (Full time working 37.5 hours per week across 5 days, part time working up to 30 hours across Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays)
  • Home away from home - An accommodation & meal packages available (optional) at a generous rate with zero charge for bills or utilities. If you want to take advantage of our ‘live on’ option and therefore flexible on location, you do not need to make multiple applications. Simply let us know the locations you are interested in when completing your application form.
  • Fixed term contract available to work across Summer months

Join our fun, friendly hospitality team at PGL. As a Housekeeping & Retail Assistant, you’ll be paid to have fun, learn and develop your career whilst working at one of our stunning centres.

This unique position is a blend of two vital PGL functions, Housekeeping & Retail… meaning you’ll enjoy lots of variety and a satisfying mix of responsibilities and duties. Your time will be split across these two areas as follows:

Housekeeping
Many children feel nervous about staying away from home. At PGL we take pride in making our young explorers feel as welcome as possible with a comfortable & clean environment. A great night’s sleep in a freshly-made bed will leave them raring for a new day of adventure! You’ll specialise in keeping all of our guest & communal areas looking impressive, creating fantastic first impressions and making our visitors feel at home.


Retail

Our young guests love browsing our fun range of souvenirs, treats and toys. You’ll be responsible for our on-site shops and/or bars, providing a friendly and welcoming service to our young guests, families and other visitors. You’ll be keeping these areas stocked, organised and visually appealing. Get creative with shop & bar displays to keep them fresh and fun, and share your marketing ideas to enhance our retail environments.

IS THIS YOU?


  • Previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Sociable, friendly & organised
  • Enjoys working as part of a fun & supportive team.
  • Understands the importance of our guests and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
