Job Overview
Stowe School is looking for a dynamic Houseparent or Houseparent couple to play a key role in our pastoral team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new girls’ Boarding and Day House which is due to open in September 2025.
Whilst the House will not open until 2025, we seek to appoint into this role from September 2024 as the Houseparent(s) will be pivotal in the lead up to the opening of the House, ensuring future pupils and parents can understand the vision for the House.
The Houseparent(s) will act as a visible role model for our pupils, providing a sense of community, inclusion and safety whilst ensuring a high level of behaviour is maintained. You will be a warm and energetic character with excellent communication and organisation skills with the motivation and stamina to deliver unwavering support to your House pupils throughout their time at Stowe.
The successful candidate(s) will be a member of the Teaching Staff and be expected to contribute to the Teaching timetable. A particular subject specialism is not specified for this role.
The Houseparent(s) will live in private family-sized accommodation attached to the Boarding and Day House.
