Job description

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Housing Administrator/Co-Ordinator to join one of Adecco's most improved public sector clients in a permanent role, paying £25,000 per annum. You will be working 35 hours each week (Monday to Friday) and be required to work from our client's office four days each week.

Based in Harrow in North-West London and reporting daily into the Senior Housing Manager, this role involves taking ownership of administrative duties, supporting the business needs both operationally and functionally, and ensuring the service delivers timely actions according to the service needs and to meet internal procedural and regulatory requirements. You will also be required to be an ambassador for the organisation delivering excellent customer service.

Other key elements of the role include:

  • Supporting the delivery of local housing and tenancy management ensuring a quality customer service.
  • Responding to first call contact from all parties and ensuring calls are fielded to the correct persons or logged for a return call within the Tenant Offer stipulation.
  • Managing the info email box and ensuring emails are responded to or fielded to the appropriate person.
  • Conducting a range of admin and support duties including, mail merge assistance, ordering of PPE and stationery, logging training needs and supporting bookings.
  • Coordinating complaints and compliments ensuring that acknowledgments are made on time and timely responses by the teams to our tenants meet procedural and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating and managing member of parliament and councillor enquiries ensuring responsible persons in the business respond on time.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the management of the Internal Housing Waiting List ensuring it is regularly reviewed and is updated and those entering the list have been fully assessed and approved.
  • Supporting the letting of properties within company policies supporting the voids process with asset and repairs colleagues, and to ensure that CORE forms are completed as required and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Managing and maintaining the Mutual Exchange Register and ensuring tenants are notified of the decision within the 42 day deadline by the Local Service Managers.
  • Collating and maintaining scheme H&S sheets providing KPI outcomes each month liaising with the SSM.
  • Ensuring that performance data is provided to the Director of Housing and Customer Experience in a timely manner.
  • Taking ownership of the Lone Working device register and supporting senior managers with up to date records of staff

Only applicants who are happy to work from our client's Harrow office 4 days each week need apply. Applicants with previous public sector administrative experience would be highly desirable, but this is not essential.
