SalaryOur local authority client, based near Bedfordshire are looking to appoint an experienced Housing Enforcement with recent experience of enforcement activities under the Housing Act 2004, including the drafting and issue of enforcement notices, financial penalties, magistrates court, and first tier tribunal. You will also help to provide an efficient, high quality advice, information and enforcement service for houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) in order to ensure that all HMOs are well managed, safe and habitable and that all licensable HMOs are licensed.
In order to be considered, you must have recent experience of undertaking housing inspections, the recognition of Category 1 hazards, and the remediation of Category 1 hazards. At the very least you must also hold the HHSRS Certificate.
This is a full time post with 2 to 3 days in the office. The initial contract will run for 3 months and pay rates will be between £35 to £45 per hour.
