Our client is a Housing Association in Glasgow, they are seeking a Maintenance/Repairs Assistant to help liaise with Tenants and provide day-to-day co-ordination of planned and reactive maintenance activities. The role will last 12 months, so offers good job security and an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a busy Social Housing maintenance team.
You will speak with Tenants on a daily basis, taking details from them, and then liaise with Maintenance Staff and Contractors to help resolve maintenance requirements, issue work orders, and meet expectations of the Tenants.
You will also involve yourself with tasks such as completing compliance obligations, updating databases, job records, customer services and working closely with colleagues in different departments of the housing association.
The suited candidate will have experience working in a Housing Maintenance team, has good customer services skills and a has a working knowledge of computer packages, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ideally you will have experience organising workloads, managing compliance and be able to respond quickly to changing priorities and often under pressure remain focused and able to meet deadlines.
