Housing Management Paralegal

Our client, a well-respected law firm in Birmingham, are currently looking for a Housing Management Paralegal to join their highly regarded team.

The firm has earned a strong reputation nationally over the years and are now looking for an experienced Housing Management Paralegal to join them and bolster their team, supporting the fee earners with their extensive caseloads. The team and wider firm pride themselves on having a friendly, yet professional culture.

What does the opportunity consist of?

Due to an expansion purposes, this firm are able to offer an opportunity for a Housing Management Paralegal to join their team and be an integral part of the day to day running of the department. The successful candidate will work closely alongside the Solicitors whilst carrying out an element of fee earning themselves, with the workload consisting of possession actions, antisocial behaviour, injunctions, disrepair, policy and procedure work .

The salary on offer is between £22,000-£24,000 per annum and the role is hybrid after the initial onboarding period, allowing 2-4 days per week from home. The firm also offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme and annual bonus scheme.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

• The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months’ experience working in a law firm as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, ideally within a Housing Management or Property Litigation department
• Fast and efficient work ethic and able to work to tight deadlines
• Organised with good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
