Reviews Officer will carry out both statutory and non-statutory reviews under current legislation, assess property conditions and authorise or defuse continuing discretionary temporary accomodation. This rewarding role involves managing caseloads, identifying & recommending improvements, and ensuring that the expenditure does not exceed the allocated budget.
- SALARY - £35k (plus PRP)
- CONTRACT - Permanent
- TYPE - Hybrid
- HOURS - Full-Time, 36 hours per week
- Performance Related Pay of up to 10% of salary

The successful Statutory Reviews Officer will be/have:
Worked in a similar role before - made enquiries and carried out statutory reviews in accordance ot the relevant legislation
Expert knowledge of Housing Legislation, (in particular Part VI and VII of the Housing Act 1996) and keeps up to date with changes in policy / legislation
Ability to respond to prepare counter responses to legal arguments / threats of Judicial Review
An effective communicator, able to interpret and explain complex legislation and guidance
Well organised and able to act decisively
