We have one post available in our Private Sector Housing Team at either Trainee Housing Standards Officer, Assistant Housing Standards Officer or Housing Standards Officer Level.


This is a full time permanent position, 37 hours a week based in Pembrokeshire.


The Assistant and Trainee roles offer a career grade position and successful candidates will be appointed to either role depending on experience and qualifications. The roles will involve assisting with enforcement investigations.


Reporting to the Housing Standards Lead Officer, in this role you will be responsible for improving Housing Standards across the County by working pro-actively and providing advice and guidance, undertaking detailed property inspections, and taking appropriate enforcement action using a wide range of relevant legislation, including licensing, to reduce hazards in housing in the private sector.
