Housing Support Officer

Job Description

The Recruitment Co are Recruiting for a Permanent Housing Support Officer in Broughty Ferry.
Pay: £22,269 - £26,246 (DOE)
Location: Broughty Ferry
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Sunday. Days and Back Shifts.

Contract: Permanent
Duties:

• To provide proactive, effective front line, intensive housing management to Residents
• Actively monitor the security of the residence and respond professionally to incidents that occur
• Proactively promote, encourage and assist with activities designed to improve wellbeing
• Proactively enforce the Occupancy/Tenancy agreement, monitor and report antisocial behaviour, rent arrears, recharges, utilities, etc., including regular patrols
• Assist residents understand their Occupancy/Tenancy agreement, intervening and providing corrective advice where required
• Conduct and record resident interaction, accommodation checks and risk assessments
• Assisting residents to establish themselves within their residence, providing onboarding advice and information
Assisting to manage residents finances and debts

Requirements:

• An interest in helping the residences
• The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively when talking to the residents
• Good listening skills
• Great problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt and act accordingly to situations
