Job Location: Birmingham
Hourly rate: £15-£16ph
Shifts: Days, nights, weekends (Flexible)
As one of the largest Social Care agencies in the UK, Prospero Health and Social Care have some exciting short and long term opportunities for Support Workers within Social Housing, Children services and Care centre.
You will be working as part of a team to assist clients and staff which will include:
- Processing and prioritising applications or referrals for supported housing services.
- Assessing the needs of new clients and developing support plans.
- Protecting people from abuse and harm.
- Helping clients to find and move on to more settled accommodations.
- Helping clients to claim benefits and access services.
- Offering clients support.

Candidate expectation:
- Must have experience in Social Housing.
- 12 months minimum experience working in a Hostel or Supported accommodation.
- Cheerful and friendly.
- Able to follow instructions and procedures.
- Able to work in a team but use their own initiative.
- Ability to keep calm in a crisis and good problem solving skills.
- Relevant IT Skills.
