HR Adviser

Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking to work for a larger organisation in the Bridlington area? Do you enjoy Employee Relations and supporting colleagues across a more specialised HR role? Are enhanced holidays important to you and your work life balance?

We are delighted to be working with a growing organisation with sites across East Yorkshire. They have recently restructured the Human Resources team and are looking for a HR Adviser to join them initially on a 1 year contract, however this could go permanent for the right person.

What the HR Adviser job involves

• Providing ER and employment law advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Advising on health and wellbeing and occupational health.
• Developing collaborative approaches to manage and employee issues / concerns
• Keeping advice and guidance in line with HR policies and procedures.
• Take notes / minutes during formal meetings, coordinating and preparing packs.
• Responsible for the absence and sickness management system and reporting.
• Work with the wider HR team with recruitment processes, probation periods, fixed term contracts and inductions.
• Working with external recruitment agencies around recruitment.

Skills required

• HR Adviser experience essential
• CIPD Qualification is desirable
• Understanding of Employment Law and continuous CPD
• Experience of creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures
• Highly organised and able to work on your own initiative

• 37 hours Monday to Friday
• 30 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• 4% Pension
• Car parking
• Dynamic working to work from Bridlington / Scarborough sites with travel to other sites in East Yorkshire when required
