We are currently supporting a nationally recognised retail brand who are going through a period of transformation and therefore looking for support in their HR team.
They are looking for a HR Advisor to join the team on an initial 3 Month Fixed Term Contract to support with the Employee Relations workload.
Salary for this role is between GBP30,000 - GBP38,000 DOE, and our client is open to full-time and part-time options.
You will be required to work from the HQ (BB1) 5 days per week, however there is flexibility there for start/finish times.
The Role:
- Manage a busy Employee Relations caseload of approx. 20 cases at any one time. This will include disciplinary, performance and absence management cases.
- Provice HR advice and guidance in line with employment law and company policy and procedures.
- Escalate any complex cases to the HR Business Partner or Head of HR.
- Work at pace whilst remaining thorough to reduce ER caseload.
- Maintain professional and credible relationships with managers and the SLT.
- Support the Head of HR with any ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
- Experience of managing ER cases from start to finish.
- Excellent relationship building skills with managers at all levels.
- Proven ability to escalate ER cases when required.
- Has worked in a fast-paced HR function previously.
- Strong employment law and legislation knowledge.
- CIPD L3 minimum or relevant experience.
