Our client, a not-for-profit organisation conducting independent research based in Cambridge, is looking for a HR and Recruitment Assistant to join their team on a part time basis, initially for 6 weeks. They are looking for someone Monday-Thursday and would be happy to consider someone looking for school hours etc. The hours can be flexible but based roughly around 9/10am start with a 2/3pm finish. This is a temporary contract, initially for 6 weeks but with the potential to be extended.
Responsibilities will include:
- Inbox management
- Maintenance of employee records
- Issuing contracts and letters
- Sickness and holiday absence
- Data entry
- Recruitment and on-boarding
- Performing Right to Work checks
- Arranging and Scheduling interviews
- Learning and Development admin
Candidates will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in an HR admin role
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative approach
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good working knowledge of HR practices and experience with HR systems.
