Job Description
If you enjoy working in a team and are passionate about helping others achieve their goals, this apprenticeship could be the perfect opportunity to do work that directly impacts the heart of our organisation, our colleagues.
You will use your HR expertise to support the development of people solutions, be ambassadors of behavioural and cultural change, provide tailored advice to the business across a number of HR topics and drive our learning agenda through your work towards your apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship will take around 18 months to complete, and cover key areas such as:

  • Being a trusted HR consultant
  • Providing support and adviceto colleagues on a number of people issues
  • Contributing to business changeand transformation
  • Building your HR capabilityand knowledge
  • HR information and data analysis to address themes & develop solutions
  • Relationship Management
  • Personal learning and development

As part of your apprenticeship, you will complete a Level 5 CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management.
Our recruitment process has 3 steps - our online application, online assessments, and an assessment day. You will be given full details of the process throughout your recruitment journey.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Our main requirement is that you to have a passion for the role you’re applying for! Aside from this we have a few formal requirements:
Education:
England:
  • GCSE English and maths at grades 4 - 9 or equivalent. If you do not hold the required GCSE grades, you’ll need to complete maths and English qualifications alongside your apprenticeship

AND
  • At least one A level or equivalent at grade A*- C by September 2024.

Scotland:
  • National 5 qualifications in English and Maths at grades 1 - 3 or equivalent. If you do not hold the required National 5 grades, you’ll need to complete Maths and English qualifications alongside your apprenticeship

AND
  • At least one Higher Grade or equivalent at grade A - C by September 2024.

Location:
  • You should live a commutable distance from the location in this advert. Our work style is hybrid and you should expect to be in the office at least 2 days per week.

Additional Requirements:
  • You’ll be aged at least 18 years old when the apprenticeship starts.
  • Whilst we welcome candidates who have a degree, this cannot be in a field related to the apprenticeship due to a crossover in learning. We’ll request a copy of your degree module transcript to review your prior learning if your degree may contain prior learning.
