In this busy, varied role you'll help to research, design and implement cost effective, efficient tools and processes to support each stage of the employee lifecycle.

We have an amazing opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic HR assistant to join the Aldi HR Department to support our health and wellbeing strategy. This fast-paced and exciting role includes developing wellbeing initiatives, managing partnerships, promoting the wellbeing services available to colleagues through our calendar of wellbeing events and communications, and maintaining health and wellbeing policy and guidance, all of which play a part in supporting Team Aldi to be happy and healthy.

Successful applicants can be based in either Bolton Regional Office or Atherstone Head Office dependent on current home region.

Your New Role:


  • Supporting the delivery of the health and wellbeing strategy
  • Defining and rolling out wellbeing projects and initiatives across the whole of Aldi, including preparing company committee documentation to ensure all stakeholders and senior leaders are kept up to date and informed
  • Creating and delivering the annual internal communication and engagement plan including conducting research, creating and developing written and visual content such as writing articles for publication to all 42,000+ Aldi colleagues. Campaigns include promotion of key wellbeing services, awareness days, the September wellbeing event and many more!
  • Supporting external communications on wellbeing topics including social posts, press releases and award entries
  • Creating documentation and training materials
  • Keeping a close eye on wellbeing activity going on across the market
  • Liaising and building strong relationships with key stakeholders of all levels across the business
  • Supporting wellbeing queries from colleagues and leaders across the business
  • Facilitating the delivery of flu vaccination clinics and the distribution of eyecare vouchers

About You:

What You’ll get in Return:


  • Salary starting £32,105 rising to £39,865
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
