Hr Assistant Manager

We are seeking a dedicated HR Assistant Manager to join our bustling team in Farnham, GU9 9JX.

As an HR Assistant Manager, your responsibilities include reviewing and optimising the company's recruitment processes, as well as supporting in the delivery of the onboarding process and probation reviews. You will be tasked with creating, planning, and executing the annual training program. Moreover, you will work on optimising the Performance Management System within Ceridian to define training and coaching needs. As required, you will assist managers with employee relations matters such as dismissals, grievances, and other employment legislation issues. Additionally, you will review and run the Annual Employee Survey, utilising it to create an improvement plan. Furthermore, you will analyse and interpret employee metrics such as sickness and turnover, as well as exit questionnaires, to inform decision-making and strategy.

Hours of Work: Full time - 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

HR Assistant Manager Requirements:

* Qualified to CIPD Level 7
* Confident, determined, creative, industrious HR professional, with 10+ years practical experience across all main HR disciplines
* Previous experience in retail and experience of multi-site organisations with a diverse employee base
* Evidence of planning, creation and delivery of training programmes
* Knowledge of, and examples of implementing employment law, in practice
* Experience of handling disciplinary cases, from initiation to conclusion
* Evidence of running successful recruitment programmes, in tight labour markets - writing advertisements; employing all relevant communication channels; interviewing; finalising contracts; arranging induction and on-boarding
* .Coaching and mentoring ability, to help team members improve performance
* Experience of developing and optimising appraisal systems in a large work-force, multi-site environment
* Proven oral and written communication skills, (the latter, specifically for crafting disciplinary and recruitment letters)
* Confident use of Excel and Powerpoint to analyse and present information in a clear and persuasive fashion
* Negotiating ability to deal effectively with individual employees and third-party providers
