Are you a HR Business Partner with a passion for driving business performance through HR Management? Reed HR is seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to guide and support HR teams across multiple sites around Birmingham within the Education sector on a fixed term contract initially until the end of the School year.
Salary: £49,498 - £53,515 + £6,000 car allowance
Duration: 30th August (chance of being extended)
Location: Multiple sites across Birmingham
Hours: 37 hours per week
Hybrid: An autonomous role where you will plan your weeks on where you need to be
Start date: Immediately available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary source of HR advice for line managers, guiding them on policies and practices.
• Offer coaching to line managers to promote effective communication and objective problem resolution.
• Partner with line managers to handle complicated employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
• Utilize policies to develop and implement people priorities, fostering a culture of wellbeing and fair solutions.
• Assist in change management, including TUPE and bid process support.
What you need:
• Education experience is preferable.
• Multi-site experience is preferable.
• Proven experience in complicated ER management is a must.
• TUPE experience is a must.
• Chartered Member of CIPD or equivalent.
• Strong legal acumen with a flexible approach to employment law.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (can be obtained)
