Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the food manufacturing industry? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Coordinator to join our client's busy team at their Hull-based food manufacturing facility. This role offers a great opportunity for a CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualified HR professional to develop and shape their own role within this position.

Your new role
Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Cycle: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for both factory and management positions. Source, screen, interview, and on board new hires.
  • Policy Development: Take ownership of HR policies and procedures. Develop and implement guidelines related to appraisals, performance management, and staff well being.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture. Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a supportive atmosphere.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the Managing Director. Provide regular updates on HR metrics, trends, and initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 year's experience in HR coordination or related roles. Ideally, CIPD Level 5 or above qualified.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with food manufacturing or similar industries preferred.
  • Flexibility: Some flexibility in working hours. We are open to considering a 4-day working week.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
