Cpl is excited to be working in partnership with a market leading, specialist manufacturing business to appoint an experienced HR Generalistto join their successful team in Ballynahinch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented HR professional to join this business in a standalone role overseeing the HR function for this business.
What we are looking for
This post requires a dynamic and experienced HR professional to be responsible for all HR related practices.
We are looking for an individual with previous HR experience at officer or generalist level who has the capability and desire to excel in the role with career development opportunities available for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will take ownership of all aspects of HR including culture, employee wellbeing, legal compliance, policies, pay structures, employee relations, industrial relations and recruitment.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements and best practice
- End to end recruitment activities including annual monitoring returns to ECNI.
- Coaching and mentoring the management team in ER issues and cases
- Updating HR data to inform and support the management team.
- Responsible for the administration duties and managing all stages of the employee life cycle such as on-boarding, development, retention and off-boarding.
- Drive the Wellbeing strategy and continue the wellbeing initiatives with the Wellbeing Champions
- Administration of employee records and maintaining GDPR compliance.
- Any other reasonable duties.

Essential Criteria
• Educated to A-levels or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a HR officer/generalist role
• Minimum level 5 CIPD qualified.
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of current employment legislation and best practice.
• IT literate with strong skills in MS Office programmes.
• Positive work attitude
Desirable Criteria
• Previous experience in a stand-alone HR role
• Previous experience completing annual monitoring reports.
