What the HR Manager job involves
Managing the recruitment process within the business from start to finish, including the onboarding process, and working with department managers to enhance their own recruitment for their teams. Reviewing all policies and procedures, contracts, and the employee handbook, updating where appropriate and creating any additional where necessary. Reviewing the performance management, appraisal, grievance, and disciplinary processes, working with managers to make these consistent throughout the business. Design and implement training programs where appropriate. Managing all Sickness and absences, updating HR records accordingly. Stakeholder Management as well as keeping the senior leadership team abreast of legislation changes.
Skills required
CIPD Level 5 / Level 7 Qualification or relevant experience within a HR Adviser / HR Manager role. Excellent communication skills both speaking and listening. Confidentiality. A proactive approach to their position. Solutions based HR professional.
Other information
The could be a full or part–time position, minimum of 3 or 4 days a week. Full–time would be Monday to Friday 9.00 5.30. Flexible employer with some Hybrid / Agile working available. Car parking available Private Medical insurance for all employees. Casual Dress code. Employee discount scheme
