Anderson Knight are looking for a HR Manager for one of our priority clients based in Glasgow on a 12 month FTC. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the integration of two businesses, utilising your expertise in mergers and acquisitions to ensure a smooth transition.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR function in navigating the complexities of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to develop and implement strategic plans for integrating acquired businesses.
- Provide guidance and support to senior management and key stakeholders throughout the integration process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any HR-related challenges or issues that may arise during the integration phase.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote a seamless transition and foster a positive employee experience.
- Oversee the communication and change management process to ensure transparency and engagement among employees.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing HR functions within a merger or acquisition environment is essential
- Strong understanding of HR principles and best practices, with the ability to apply them in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders throughout the business.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
