Are you?an experienced HR Manager, available immediately and with a background working within the Manufacturing industry?

We are recruiting for a 1 year FTC to cover a maternity contract, our client is offering competitive salary, fantastic benefits and the chance to be part of a great team!!

Our client is a worldwide manufacturing company that specialise in providing commercial equipment and cosmetics to the healthcare and beauty sectors. They are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join their team and lead all areas of HR at their London office and providing hands on support to all departments. You will need to have a credible background within HR with the passion and wiliness to continue the development of HR strategy, systems and processes to help contribute towards company objectives.

JOB TITLE: Interim HR Manager - 1 Year FTC Maternity Cover

COMPANY: Manufacturing

CONTRACT: 13 month fixed term contract (maternity cover)

LOCATION: Bow, London - this role is based in the office Mon-Fri (the team all love working together in the office, it has a real family feel!)

SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 (ideal salary range is £50k-£55k, but salary may be negotiable upwards up to £60k)

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Supporting line managers with all HR matters
  • Maintaining employee records using our HR Information system, Iris HR Professional
  • Producing and sending all HR related correspondence (both electronic and paper)
  • Maintaining the Company Handbook and other policies in line with employment law updates
  • Managing leaver processes and paperwork
  • Managing recruitment, selection, inductions, onboarding and probations
  • Managing the annual appraisal process including producing all paperwork and supporting managers and employees
  • Working with the General Manager and pensions to ensure accurate payroll data each month
  • Identifying and organising all training and development requirements
  • Handling employee relations matters with legal advice as required
  • Producing, analysing and presenting reports and KPIs
  • Internal communications including company updates and quarterly staff newsletter
  • Representing HR on the GDPR committee
  • Organising regular management meetings and producing agendas and minutes

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Experience working in a similar senior HR position
  • Experience working across all HR functions, practices and processes
  • Line management experience
  • Experience working in a professional office environment
  • Experience working in HR for a manufacturing company would be an advantage
  • Up to date Employment law and best practice HR knowledge
  • Engaged in Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • Ability to maintain accurate HR records using an HR Information system
  • Ability to create and update HR policies and employment contracts
