HR Operations Coordinator

Location – Swindon, flexibility to work from home and in the office.

Contract Type – Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

Working Hours – Full time (Part time considered)

Closing Date – 9 July 2024

 

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate HR professional to join our HR team!

 

The HR Operations team is responsible for delivering high quality HR services including, but not limited to, resourcing administration, HR reporting, employee life-cycle administration and organisational management administration to 3 companies within the RWE Group. In addition to the core responsibilities of the role, you'll also have the chance to support the wider HR team on projects and tackle small HR Operational projects which interest you and deliver continuous improvement for the HR team and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee lifecycle support: Production of contracts/letters for changes such as internal moves or job details changes. Chasing employees for returned documents where applicable, maintenance of employee’s digital files and administration of employee benefit changes.
  • Resourcing Administration: Administration of Internal vacancies, producing new starter contracts, referencing, right to work checks and where visas are required liaising with our external immigration legal provider.
  • HR Reporting: Producing HR reports on a cycle or ad-hoc as requested
  • HR Project Support: Administration support for projects as they arise and continuous improvement of HR Ops processes and tools
  • Organisational Management:Maintain regular organisational structure changes
  • Query Management: Respond to queries from the business in an accurate and timely manner via email, phone and Teams and escalating queries to other teams where necessary using own judgment

About you

You will have:

 

  • The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally, to employees at all levels, within and outside of HR
  • The confidence to act proactively and with limited supervision, but also able to recognise when matters need to be referred to your line manager
  • A passion for providing excellent HR support
  • Experience of delivering end to end transactional services whilst following data protection principles and legislation
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office and other software
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload during busier periods

  • An expected starting salary from £27,000 to £31,000+ depending on experience and up to 5% annual bonus
