- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Lead the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection and onboarding.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts, fostering a positive work environment.
- Promote a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion within the company.
- Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal systems and provide guidance on performance improvement.
- Support managers in setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
- HR Administration:
- Oversee HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits, and record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CIPD certification is a plus.
