Job description
To provide day-to-day HR guidance and services; support to managers, staff, trade unions and colleagues in PBNI to ensure a people focused HR service which helps PBNI achieve its corporate aims and objectives in an efficient and effective way. This role will cover all aspects of the core HR remit which includes working as part of the HR team; participating in change management activities; coaching and guidance on HR policies, procedures and processes; management of recruitment and resourcing activities; management of attendance, employee and industrial relations; and ensuring statutory compliance and further development of PBNI’s equality plans; undertaking data analysis and providing reports and various administration activities to support service delivery. .

Hold associate membership, or higher, of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD).Have a minimum of two years' experience in providing advice and/or services across a range of human resources issues including: Managing Attendance, Recruitment and Resourcing, Employee Relations (e.g.,Grievances, Disciplinary etc.)Have previous experience in the use of a HR Management Information System, preferably iTrent or similar.Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and the design and use of Excel for recording information and producing reports.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Be able to work with detailed information and be precise.Working as a team member to manage and prioritise own and others workload meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.Access to a mode of transport to enable you to fulfil the duties of the post. , Have practical knowledge of application of HR practice and employment and equality legislation in Northern Ireland.
