Hr Project Manager

An exciting HR Project Managerposition is now available with Manchester Council on an initial 6-month temporary contract. Hybrid working is available on a 2/3 split.

What is the role?

Manchester City Council are now looking to appoint a HR Project Manager to manage and deliver complex, high value projects and initiatives within their Housing Improvement Programme.

The Council’s new housing strategy ‘A Place Called Home’, is a vision for social housing in Manchester aiming to deliver high quality resident housing services that offer value for Council tenants.

In this HR Project Manager role, you will be fundamental to the successful delivery of the workforce requirements emerging from this programme of transformation and improvement.

How can you help?

• Ensure strategies are in place to deliver the workforce issues arising from the Housing Improvement Programme.

• Provided specialist HR input to consideration of harmonisation of terms and conditions within the service.

• Work closely with the MCC Corporate HROD and Transformation Service to build effective connections between corporate HR policies and strategies.

• Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to the service management team.

What experience do you need?

• A background within a Public Sector HR team will be advantageous, with experience of developing complex project schedules.

• Ability to think cross-functionally and cross-organisationally, conceptualising new and collaborative ways of achieving shared goals.

• Knowledge of employment legislation and over-arching workforce legal framework with experience in HR and OD policy
