The Role:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a HR & Recruitment Administrator. This is working in a small and busy HR Team and this role will be to support the HR Director and HR Advisor with administration around recruitment, onboarding and HR. It’s essential someone has superb attention to detail and confidentiality.
Responsibilities will include:
- Carry out administration for new starters, leavers and any changes to employment terms and conditions or personal information and update the HR System
- Update holiday records for support staff
- Maintain sickness absence records for all staff ensuring self-certificates
- Maintain the filing system of staff appraisals, ensuring that appraisals are being completed by line managers in a timely manner, issuing reminders and following-up as required
- Receive instructions from and manage the recruitment process with senior members of the school, ensuring that the relevant and necessary processes are followed before, during and after the recruitment project;
- Liaise with the marketing team in the production of recruitment and advertising materials
- Prepare and place recruitment advertisements in relevant media
- Draw up recruitment timetables and interview programmes for each role advertised, working closely with the Head’s EA, the PA to the Bursar and Assistant to the Deputy Heads
- Draft and collate interview questions/records of interview and sit on interview panels as and when required
- Liaise with the Director of HR in ensuring that all new starters are compliant with the Single Central Register requirements and that Risk Assessments are carried out in line with regulatory requirements and school policy
The Person:
For this role our client seeking someone with previous administration experience (ideally HR or recruitment administration experience but not essential). In addition to this they are also looking for someone who has:
• Organised with excellent time management skills
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be articulate and an ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Have a friendly nature, with a sense of humour.

• Be professional, reliable and well organised
• Have good IT skills and the ability to use management information systems and other computer applications
The Hours:
Monday - Friday (full time or term time only) 40 hours per week
The Location:
Westbury on Trym (Bristol) with car parking - 100% office based
