An excellent opportunity has come up to join a growing business in Slough who are looking for an experienced HR professional to join them as their new HR Support Officer.
This is a new role created to support the business strategy and their development plans.
Role: HR Support Officer
Salary: 33k - 36k dependent on experience
Location: Slough
Hours: 37.5 hours - hybrid working with a requirement to go into the office 1-2 days a week

Job description:
Supporting the HR Manager with employee performance management and disciplinary process, including preparation of investigation paperwork to present to HR manager, full recruitment cycle including managing the agencies queries, health and safety, performance and talent management
Supporting both manager and employee with guidance where appropriate in an HR capacity
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders where applicable
Liaising with Managers to support them with daily employee issues
Supporting the HR manager in escalated disciplinary processes and grievances
Administrative tasks including the roll out of new and updated policies, procedures and handbooks, monitoring of employee wellbeing, attendance and productivity
Completing pre employment checks and reference checks for new employees
Maintaining the employee databases
Completing both routine/ad hoc projects and initiatives, to support departmental and organisational objectives
Experienced and skills required:
HR Advisor level experience
Minimum of CIPD level 3 qualified
Able to commute to the Slough office 1-2 days a week
Strong personality to ensure the employee relations is dealt with in the right way and effectively
