HR Data and Systems Specialist

Mid Ulster

VANRATH is partnering with a global manufacturer wishing to appoint a HR Data and Systems Specialist to join their growing HR function, based in the mid Ulster region.

This is a hybrid role offering two days per week from home, a competitive salary and benefits package and an employer focused on continued professional development of their employees.

In this role, you will collect, curate and interpret data to create people insights which guide decision-making across the business.

You will play a vital role in optimising the current HR systems within the business, leading projects that increase Talent's data efficiency and accuracy.

About the Role

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business objectives and answer key business questions.
  • Use techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in developing and maintaining HR dashboards, and reports, and create visualizations to effectively communicate HR data and insights to stakeholders.
  • To collate and produce HR reports as required, analyse data, identify key trends and make recommendations based on what the data shows.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives related to data analytics, including HR system implementations, process improvements, and automation.
  • Lead the Optimisation of the HR systems to reduce administrative time for the business.
  • To be HR improvement-focused and utilise Excel to its full talent capacity.
  • Ensure accurate records have been kept throughout the year in compliance with GDPR requirements, including contracts and all new starter and leaver documentation, etc.
  • To take ownership of maintaining employee records and updating the ERP system accordingly.
  • To protect the confidentiality of all information and Data held privately.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop questions and hypotheses to provide insight into people issues.
  • Create data visualisations and use storytelling techniques to inform decision-making on people issues.
  • Regularly review and audit HR data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in HR data.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives: Collaborate with HR team members to design, implement, and evaluate HR programs, policies, and strategies. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance HR processes, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
