Job Description


Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.

Part time applicants are also welcome to apply and would be considered.

The purpose of the role is to work with the HRIS Technical Manager and key stakeholders to deliver a Eurofins reporting suite from Oracle HCM Cloud, by designing, building, testing and deploying a suite of people analytics reports for use by HR, Payroll, Finance, business leaders and line managers.

The role also includes developing HR and payroll team knowledge in using OTBI reporting and creating user guides for report consumers.

You will use your knowledge and prior experience of Oracle OTBI, SQL, BI Publisher, HCM Extract to translate business functional requirements into delivery of user-friendly reports.

  • Reviewing the Eurofins list of key reporting requirements and presenting solutions for how the requirements can be achieved through various Oracle reporting tools - OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM extract reporting.
  • In conjunction with key stakeholders, agreeing priorities and providing sound rationale for any adjustment of ordering throughout the duration of the contract (for example, lower priority report but quick win).
  • Advising on best delivery methods for the reports, e.g. Dashboards, Scheduled reports.
  • Determining case scenarios for testing the reports, and conducting unit testing.
  • Training the relevant teams on how to conduct UAT and run the reports.
  • Maintaining clear documentation throughout the development & deployment lifecycle of each report.
  • Creating user-friendly reporting guides.
  • Developing team knowledge on reporting to allow a greater level of longer term self-sufficiency.
  • General HRIS support as requested by HRIS Manager.

Qualifications
  • GCSE – maths / English (or equivalentt)
  • Strong track record in a similar role within a complex business environment
  • Proven experience within Oracle HCM Cloud reporting
  • Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll modules experience
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Experience designing, building and testing OTBI and BI Publisher reports, HCM extracts, report Bursting
  • Experience creating Oracle HCM dashboards
  • Experience writing end-user guides
  • Understanding system development lifecycle
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience of UAT testing and writing test scripts
  • Knowledge of GDPR
  • Strong Oracle cloud data security knowledge
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to analyse business requirements and translate into technical solutions
  • Confident communicator with ability to adapt output to varied client groups and engage users
  • Positive attitude and able to work in a manner aligned to key company values such as integrity, customer focus, quality and team competence & spirit
