HR/P&C Working Practices Assurance Lead

Leading facilities company is seeking a Working Practices Assurance Lead, you will work closely with the Head of Compliance - People & Culture and the People and Culture Operations Director to champion full working practice compliance assurance throughout the entire organisation.

The role will involve travel to client sites therefore a full driving licence is essential, must be able to travel to Weybridge, at least once a week.

Your role involves identifying compliance targets and gaps, leading the charge for necessary changes and improvements across various business functions.

This position is a key driver of compliance excellence, and your contributions will play a crucial part in ensuring Working Practices align with the highest standards. Join them in this essential role to make a significant impact on their compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Operational Management, P&C and Finance (stakeholders) to ensure that a comprehensive and appropriate working practice assurance programme is developed, documented and implemented.
  • Support all stakeholders and their teams to develop their understanding around Working Practices and the steps needed to ensure compliance.
  • Drive specific actions across the business teams to increase Working Practices compliance, processes, business documentation
  • Perform and collate internal working practice audits, both remotely and by attending sites/contracts spread geographically across the UK
  • Monitor outputs for reporting, working with key functional leads to gather appropriate evidence of controls.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience working with business processes, procedures and policies
  • Thorough understanding of UK business legislation and law relating to Working Practices i.e. employment law
  • Understanding and experience of the controls required to be compliant
  • Understanding of and experience in implementing business internal standards
  • Experience and knowledge of process management and controls
  • Able to perform business and root-cause analysis
